Auxiliaries and medical aids include incontinence products, bandages, hearing aids, glasses, prostheses, inhalation devices, rollators, wheelchairs, hospital beds and much more.
To obtain medical aids and appliances, visit your family doctor. They will give you a doctor's prescription if required. Your health insurance will cover the costs or a proportion of the costs. If you borrow a product, the loan fee will be covered. For some items, prior approval must be obtained from the health insurance company.
