Caring for a relative is often very challenging and difficult. In many situations, family caregivers are dependent on help. Healthcare and nursing staff can provide you with advice and support during a free home visit to help you cope with day-to-day care.
Home visits as part of "quality assurance in home care"
The focus of the free home visits by care professionals is on advice and information. This is intended to ensure the quality of caregiving at home.

During the home visit, the actual care situation is determined from a healthcare and nursing staff. You will also receive comprehensive information and advice so that you have the best possible conditions for day-to-day care.
The advice may include:
- Practical care tips, for example on changing position or personal hygiene
- specific information, for example on aids
- Information on the range of social services
- Information on care allowance

Compulsory home visits to recipients of subsidies
