MOKI's services are largely funded through grants from the federal provinces and donations. Deductibles vary depending on the federal province. In some cases, the care allowance is taken into account when calculating the costs. Platforms such as those run by Kinderfreunde or Kinder-Krebs-Hilfe offer support through aftercare, leisure activities and childcare both during everyday life or during school holidays. They also support families financially, with funding made possible through donations.
This charity, for example, supports families who find themselves in financial difficulties due to a sick child. With the help of donations, the association also organizes excursions and therapies, finances medical equipment or outdoor facilities in the rehabilitation sector.
