Financial help from associations

The KiB family self-help association not only offers advice and help for families with sick children, but also provides financial support for costs arising from care at home or in hospital.

MOKI's services are largely financed by grants from the federal states and donations. The deductibles vary depending on the federal state. In some cases, the purchase of Care allowance taken into account in the costs. Platforms that offer aftercare, leisure activities and childcare in everyday life or during vacations, such as those run by Kinderfreunde or Kinder-Krebs-Hilfe, support families financially through donations.

For example, this charity supports families who find themselves in financial difficulties due to a sick child. With the help of donations, the association also organizes excursions and therapies, finances medical equipment or outdoor facilities in the rehabilitation sector.
