Interest group for family caregivers

As the majority of people in need of care in Austria are looked after and cared for at home by relatives, a group with common interests and needs was formed. For this reason, the Interessengemeinschaft pflegender Angehöriger was founded in 2009 as a non-profit association. The following goals are to be achieved: Caring relatives should experience greater appreciation and recognition. An improvement in their living situation is actively sought. The care situation of those in need of care should also improve.

The website of the Interessengemeinschaft pflegender Angehöriger contributes to this: it provides information on all aspects of care with a special focus on support and respite services for family caregivers. In addition to general, legal and financial topics, you will also find links to offers in the federal states. A calendar of events informs you about interesting events, such as
