Interest group for family caregivers

As the majority of people in need of care in Austria are looked after and cared for at home by relatives, a group with common interests and concerns was established. For this reason, the Interessengemeinschaft pflegender Angehöriger was founded in 2009 as a non-profit association. The interest group has set itself the following goals: to increase recognition and appreciation for family caregivers, to improve their living conditions, and to enhance the care situation for those in need of support.

The website of the Interessengemeinschaft pflegender Angehöriger contributes to these aims by providing information on all aspects of care with a special focus on support and respite services for family caregivers. In addition to general, legal and financial topics, you will also find links to offers in the federal provinces. A calendar of events informs you about interesting events, such as
