Journeys and transportation to doctors or therapies are financially supported by health insurance. You can find further information on the reimbursement of travel and transportation costs on the respective website of the health insurance provider, the ÖGK, BVAEB or SVS.
There are various subsidies for people with disabilities if they are restricted in their mobility: For example, you can receive financial support for the purchase of an assistance dog, a driving license or a vehicle. If you cannot reasonably be expected to travel by public transport or for other purchase costs, there are other funding options.
