Young Carers
"Young Carers" are caring children and young people. In Austria, around 42,000 caring children and young people up to the age of 18, most of whom are female, take on the above-average caring responsibility for sick family members.
They provide support in the household, look after younger siblings, take on care duties and bear a lot of responsibility. The App "Young Carers Austria" is made for children and young people and helps them to cope better with everyday life.
