The children's hospice team supports your child, their siblings and your entire family wherever they are – at home, in hospital, in a children's hospice, at school or in kindergarten, for example. The children's hospice team consists of qualified volunteer children's hospice companions. They provide support in everyday life, accompany the child during leisure activities, kindergarten and school visits, spend time together, listen, read aloud and organise other services. The hospice companions provide support from the time of diagnosis, during the child's life, at the end of life, and beyond.
Costs: Using a children's hospice team is free across all federal provinces.
