Financial support for care-related training courses

Caring for relatives is a major responsibility and challenge. Support is therefore all the more important. In everyday life, family carers are confronted with demanding situations that require knowledge and practice. Practical care knowledge can make it easier to support your relative. You can gain this knowledge through in-person training or online courses. There are also informational videos with helpful tips for everyday care situations.

Close relatives of individuals receiving care allowance from level 1 upwards may be eligible for an allowance if they participate in one or more courses on care and support. The maximum annual allowance per person in need of care is 200 euros. Both face-to-face and online training courses are covered. The application must be submitted to the Sozialministeriumservice.
