The Unemployment Insurance Act (AlVG) regulates cases of unemployment. This law specifies who receives unemployment benefits, in which cases and for how long.
Among other things, the Unemployment Insurance Act includes the scope of the insurance, insurance contributions, conditions for entitlement and the duration of the benefits. Benefits include, for example, unemployment benefits, emergency assistance and a further training allowance.
The Unemployment Insurance Act also regulates health and pension insurance in cases of terminal care, care for seriously ill children, care leave and part-time care leave.
