Rehabilitation, also known as rehab, means “restoration of health”.
It refers to the phase following a person’s illness or accident in which measures are taken to improve their state of health. These include, for example, therapeutic massage, physiotherapy or nutritional advice. Rehabilitation is available on an outpatient or inpatient basis.
