pflege.gv.at is the information platform for nursing and care in Austria. Here you will find information relevant to nursing and care – explained in simple terms. Whether you need nursing or care yourself or are caring for someone else: pflege.gv.at provides comprehensive information on these topics across Austria. You will also find information on services in specific to your federal province.

General information

The information platform for nursing and care was developed by Gesundheit Österreich GmbH on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection and was published in December 2021. The content and features of pflege.gv.at are constantly being expanded and improved.
You will also find selected texts on the platform in easy-to-read language. You can access these via the “easy read” symbol at the top right of the page.
All easy-to-read texts are also available as sign language videos in Austrian Sign Language (ÖGS). You can access the videos via the sign language symbol, which you can also find at the top right of the page. The content offered in easy-to-read versions and sign language is constantly being expanded.

You can search for terms directly using the search function on the home page. Enter your search term in the search field and press the enter key or click on the arrow on the far right of the search field. You will receive a list of results with topics related to the term you searched for.
