The children's hospice team supports your child, their siblings and your entire family wherever they are. This could be at home, in hospital, in a children's hospice, at school or in a kindergarten, for example.
The children's hospice team consists of qualified volunteer children's hospice companions. They provide support in everyday life, accompany the child during leisure activities, kindergarten and school visits, spend time together, listen, read aloud and organize other services. The hospice companions provide support from the time of diagnosis, during the child's life and death and beyond.
Costs: If you make use of a children's hospice team, there are no costs for you in any federal state.
