Financial support for care training courses

Caring for relatives is a great challenge and burden. Support is therefore all the more important. In everyday life, family carers are confronted with demanding situations that require knowledge and practice. Practical care knowledge makes it easier for you to care for your relative. To acquire this knowledge, there are training courses in person or as an online course that you can take part in. There are also information videos that provide you with practical tips for everyday care situations. 

If you are a close relative or close relative of a person in need of care who is entitled to at least level 1 care allowance and you take part in one or more courses to impart knowledge in the field of care and support, you can receive an allowance. The maximum annual allowance per person in need of care is EUR 200. Both face-to-face and online training courses are covered. The application must be submitted to the Social Ministry Service.
